The New Wine Discipleship Year at Stockton Parish Church is an amazing opportunity to grow in your faith, gain experience in a wide range of ministry opportunities and discover more about yourself and God’s purpose for your life.
Teaching (8hrs/wk)
Every Monday during the school term, students will travel down to the York Hub for a day of teaching.
Ministry Opportunities (12hrs/wk)
Where possible, we will try to tailor the placement towards areas of ministry the students are most interested in while also serving in a broad range of church activities. Potential areas of opportunity are: Children and youth work, schools work, mission and evangelism, worship, sound/media tech, operations and administration.
Cost
Course fees and travel expenses are covered by Stockton Parish Church.
Students will be given an allowance of £30 per week. It is recommended that the they also raise some personal support or find part-time employment to supplement this.

Accommodation
Students are welcome to remain living at home but of they would like to use the year to live more independently or they’re not from Stockton-on-Tees we can help find accommodation. This could be in a shared home with other students or with a family.
Oversees short term mission trip
We will plan a week-long, oversees mission trip. The students will need to raise their own finances to cover this. We estimate this would cost around £1500.
