When Stockton Parish Church opened in 1712, the vicar, Reverend Thomas Rudd, preached his first sermon on the text “My house will be a house of prayer.” Prayer is still a central part of church life here at SPC.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the main church doors are open and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the space from 12.00-2.00pm.
On Wednesdays, we have our Agape service, where we share a meal of soup and bread from 12.30pm-13.30pm.
